Childbirth Preparation Classes
As a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator and Evidence Based Birth® Instructor, I offer comprehensive 6-week Evidence Based Birth® virtual childbirth classes in small groups (maximum six couples). These classes provide practical, evidence-based information to help you prepare for birth with confidence. Individualized sessions may also be available in your home.
Birth Doula Support
I provide continuous birth doula support for families throughout the Halifax, Dartmouth, and Truro regions, and the communities in between. My role is to offer steady emotional, physical, and informational support so you never have to navigate birth alone.
Postpartum Doula Support
The early weeks with a new baby can be both wonderful and overwhelming. I provide practical and emotional support to help your family adjust with confidence during those first days and months at home.
Infant Massage Classes
One of the greatest gifts you can give your baby is your loving touch. Infant Massage is a beautiful way to strengthen your bond, learn your baby's cues, support relaxation, and ease common discomforts such as gas and colic. My classes provide a welcoming space where you can connect with your baby while building confidence in your parenting journey.
Birth Pool & TENS Machine Rentals
Planning a comfort-focused birth? I offer birth pool and TENS machine rentals to help you create a calm, supportive birth environment. Whether you're planning a home birth or simply looking for additional comfort measures, I'm happy to help you decide if either option is right for you.
Breastfeeding Support/ Lactation Education
Drawing on years of breastfeeding education and support group leadership, I help families navigate the normal challenges of breastfeeding. When more specialized care is needed, I can also help you determine whether working with an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) would be beneficial. As a Lactation Educator I can support families to learn more about feeding options prenatally as well as provide education to birth professionals.
